I am passionate about supporting others to make changes. My clients describe me as down to earth, compassionate and nurturing. I value collaboration, supporting you to develop insight into how your experiences have shaped you, while building practical strategies for change and resilience.
My approach is trauma informed and neuro-affirmative. I work using an integrative style, drawing on various evidence based approaches.

2

INITIAL ASSESSMENT

The first 1–3 sessions focus on building an understanding of your experiences, background and goals for therapy. Together we develop a shared understanding of the difficulties you are facing.

3

THERAPY PHASE

Once we have agreed goals for therapy, sessions focus on understanding patterns of thinking, behaviour and emotional responses, while developing new coping strategies that feel realistic and sustainable. Sessions usually take place weekly or fortnightly.

4

ENDING THERAPY

Towards the end of therapy we review the progress you have made, reflect on what has been helpful and consider how you can continue to build on this work moving forward.
